My daughter’s first completed project
It’s been a while since my last post and so much happened. I’ve create more videos, which of course, I upload to Youtube the same often as I post at my blog. I think I just want to brag a little bit about my kid’s achievement. She is not a big crafty girl, and I do not remember why she decided to cross-stitch this doggie at all. But I think it looks amazing!
This is a very small and simple project. It is great for beginners as well. Interesting part, I bought it on Amazon as a kit, and when I posted the image of a finished piece at a Cross Stitch group (I am in) on a Facebook – I found out, that the company, which sells these kits is popular for stealing designs and claim them as their own!
Unfortunately, I do not know how to check that, so I am not going to post here a link. I know that y’all are smart people and can find it without my help. I just want to let you know that if on Amazon there is a thief – you may out out from supporting it. If I would ever know it – I won’t buy it from them and would find out an authorized seller.
Currently, I am being very careful and checking those sellers out. I am trying to make sure that it is a legal sell and the author of a design is rewarded.
Btw, did you know, that I am actually a big fan of a small-project designs. I enjoy to stitch them in between of my big projects because they give a feeling of accomplishment.
Do you like small projects? Or you stick only to big ones?
