Even if it is a test – add that damn border! Cactus situation…

You may find a cactus design on my site. It is very simple, any beginner can nail it down with an ease. You also may see my photos takes of a final result.

Well, you also may see my BIG stupid decision I have made! May I do a game here? Here is a rule – find an area dedicated for a framing. What? Can’t see? Me too! Because there is NONE! What and why it happened?!!!

Well…

It was a sunny day in Texas when I decided to start professionally adding designs to my site, as well as even to make my site. I already had a tool, which would convert pictures to cross-stitch schemes – everything what I needed – just go and do it.

Before I would post any designs, I wanted to test myself and do simple bullet-proof design. It was just a test for me (in my head) 🙂 So I decided to not add any framing borders and bravely cut fabric exactly to design dimensions.

Fool!

Long story short, after I made this schema and stitched it – I really loved how it ended up looking and I still regret of not adding a framing borders.

So guys, do not fool yourself when you do “test” projects and stitch them on some scraps – they may end up lovely and you will greatly regret a decision!

P.S. maybe I can use fabric glue to secure borders from fraying so I can use this project as a bookmark. Donno, any ideas how to save the situation?
